Broomfield - The Brief

This Adel property was an ‘upside-down’ house and our clients wished to create more space that was open-plan and gave easier access to outside also. We looked at various options as to how to integrate an extension with the existing steep pitched roof. The glazed, flat-roof extension with a vertical slate-hung finish worked well, giving an aesthetically more balanced feel to the property while creating that much desired extra living space for our client. The angles, style and glass all give this house a very contemporary look.
