The Mews - The Brief
This building had previously operated as two individual office units and had an unaesthetically pleasing flat roof. The project involved the conversion of the two spaces to create a new two bedroom cottage with a new pitched roof giving the building a more domestic appearance and scale. Due to its former use the interior space was uninspiring, so with the addition of the new pitched roof, reclaimed timbers were fitted to function as the new purlin’s adding a sense of character to the property.
