The Cheerful Chilli - The Brief
A popular, well-established local restaurant desired to extend their existing premises to increase their capacity and provide the opportunity to cater for private events. The proposal utilised the large redundant natural stone detached barn, retaining many of its original features, such as the original timber trusses, exposing and enhancing them to the benefit of the scheme and overall experience. The conversion creates an additional kitchen at lower ground level whilst the rest of the barn provides a double height restaurant space, with a mezzanine floor.
