Russet House is the second of the individual plots to be developed as part of the conversion of the large Victorian dwelling. The location of the plot created a series of constraints including the need to retain a large tree within the site. The site constraints led to an elongated proposal, designed to take advantage of the generous garden with views in two main directions. Despite the nature of the site, the design provides four double bedrooms and an incorporated integral garage. A main feature of the property is a two storey atrium space within the main living area, looking down onto the kitchen dinner which opens up directly onto the spacious garden
