Grasmere - The Brief
The owners of this dated bungalow in Collingham had always wanted to design and build their own home. They wanted a four-bedroom home, with a large open-plan kitchen living space and and an integral garage. Most importantly they wanted the new property to have a ‘contemporary’ style. In an area of predominantly traditional-style homes, the project was initially met with resistance by local planners. Thoughtful design and open dialogue between MAS Design and everyone else involved has resulted in this fantastic dwelling.
